Field Services Engineer - Based in Italy

We are looking for candidates, who are resilient and not afraid of a challenge. You pick up easily, work in an orderly manner and you are result-oriented. The customer is important therefore it is necessary that you are service oriented, but you can also be critical when this is necessary.

We are looking for an international Field Service Engineer based in the US (near one of the main hubs).

This position requires international traveling to clients continuously. This means that sometimes you are away from home multiple weeks in a row. It is therefore important that you have experience with what job required traveling entails or that you are interested in traveling internationally.

In this position you will be reporting to the Service & Support Manager, based in the Netherlands.

New employees will be trained in our production facility in The Netherlands. You will be expected to come over for training purposes for a period of 8 to maximum 12 weeks. Airline ticket, housing, salary and expenses will be covered during this period.

Your Duties Include:

• Installing mounting machines with a focus on Fully Automatic Plate Mounter 3.0 (FAMM 3.0)
• In order to perform this duty, we will arrange the required training to do so.
• Service maintenance
• Updating and resolving service tickets
• Project Management

Qualifications of job holder’s position:

• Fluent in Italian and English (other language skills such as Spanish, German or French preferred)
• Technical degree (Mechanical or Electronics)
• 0-5 yrs experience as a field engineer on electrical/mechanical machines, preferred combination of both
• Analytical
• Result oriented and hands-on
• Taking initiative
• Works independently
• Coaching skills
• Flexibility
• Willing to travel Internationally worldwide
• Team player
