We are looking for a Finance Accounting Process Transformation Mergers Project Leader
The Finance Transformation's mission is to create the vision, strategy, and roadmap execution to converge Stellantis Finance into a unique core model around 4 pillars (Process, Organization, IT and Legal Entity).
It aims to build a common Global Finance organization relying on a common model and a common governance. Ex-FCA and Ex-PSA should converge on one single development model for finance by implementing a Global Stellantis automotive common data core model (Chart of Accounts & Managerial Reporting Structure) and common core IT solutions for Stellantis Group.
In terms of scope, the Finance Transformation Projects cover the convergence of the Finance processes across Stellantis Finance divisions and regions for the Automotive business, in strong connection with all other businesses across the group.
We are seeking a Mergers Planning Stream lead to oversee the progressive implementation of the Legal Entities landscape simplification worldwide for the Stellantis Group, coordinating the merger operation to have a comprehensive view and be a reference point for the several actors involved and evaluating the presence of any possible showstopper.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving mergers operation in Central Finance system. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, finance transformation methodologies, and project management best practices. The individual will work closely with finance, IT, and business teams (local and central teams plus Shared Service Centers, Business Process Outsourcing and Process Owners) to optimize financial processes and implement new technologies that enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end project management for mergers operations and finance transformation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Develop and execute project plans, including defining scope, timelines, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with finance teams, IT, and external vendors to implement financial system upgrades, ERP integrations, and automation solutions.
• Analyze current financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies throughout project execution.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication, managing expectations and providing regular updates to executive leadership.
• Engage in regular meetings with the different company's functions involved, such as Tax, Legal and Finance to understand their needs and the potential constraints to be considered during the plan definition
Technical Skills & Experience:
• Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with finance transformation projects, including process automation and system implementation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) and financial management software.
• Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK).
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel, SQL).
• Familiarity with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and AI-driven finance solutions.
• Understanding of SOX compliance, IFRS, and GAAP accounting standards.

Technical Skills
• Accounting experience
• Proficient in Microsoft skills
• Proficient in SAP: all accounting activities are done based on SAP
• Fluent in English
• Experience acquired in Projects management (Financial and Accounting sector)
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working in multinational environments and managing global projects.
