From the Sunset Hotels & Resorts division, we are seeking a passionate and service-driven Accountant for METT Milan Torre Velasca, our new Residences & Suites project located in the iconic Torre Velasca, right in the heart of Milan. We are looking for an Accountant to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of all financial records. The role requires strong knowledge of Italian GAAP (OIC) and a working understanding of IFRS, with responsibility for statutory accounting, tax compliance, and the preparation of annual financial statements.

Perform and follow daily accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and fixed assets.
Ensure all accounting entries are accurately posted and properly documented in accordance with Italian accounting standards (OIC) and local regulations.
Oversee and execute the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring reconciliations and adjustments are completed within deadlines.
Prepare and file tax declarations, working closely with external advisors when necessary.
Monitor changes in accounting and tax legislation and update internal procedures accordingly.
Strong expertise in Italian statutory accounting and familiarity with IFRS principles.
In-depth knowledge of OIC accounting standards and Italian tax legislation.
Solid experience with ERP/accounting software.
Strong command of Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
Fluency in Italian and good working knowledge of English.
Annual gross salary (RAL): €25,000–€35,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
