Role Summary

Finance Integration Specialist based in Milan, part of the Finance Team, responsible for analysing trial balances, interpreting tax returns, reviewing corporate documents, and ensuring alignment between acquired companies’ accounting practices and Group standards.

Required technical competency includes proficiency in Italian accounting principles (OIC), preferably IFRS, advanced Excel, SAP S4/HANA, with SAC considered a plus. The position also involves preparing management reports, supporting audit documentation, and contributing to M&A, restructuring, and tax optimisation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct basic financial analysis and post‑acquisition integration support in a dynamic multinational environment.

• Analyse trial balances, interpret tax returns, review corporate documents, and align accounting practices with Group standards.

• Prepare reports for management, support audit documentation, and contribute to special M&A, restructuring, and tax optimisation projects.

• Demonstrate strong organisational skills, attention to detail, solution‑oriented mindset, and proactive communication with internal teams and external advisors.

Desirable Skills

  • Strong financial and accounting analysis – interpreting trial balances and assessing financial health.
  • Tax interpretation – analysing tax returns and related filings.
  • Accounting standards – solid understanding of Italian OIC and IFRS.
  • Technical fluency – high proficiency in Excel and SAP S4/HANA (required), SAC as advantage.
  • Organisational and problem‑solving ability – managing multiple deadlines and providing pragmatic solutions.
  • Communication and stakeholder collaboration – working effectively with auditors and external advisors.
