Finance Manager - Europe (based in Brussels)

Overview

In this Finance Manager role, you support the Executive Team with high-quality financial management, reporting, and analysis in an international setting. You will deliver clear insights for senior leadership to inform strategic decisions and shareholder reporting while ensuring accuracy and compliance. You’ll partner across functions to align finance with business strategy and provide robust financial modelling. The position emphasizes cross-cultural communication, especially with Chinese stakeholders, and plays a key role in audits and transparency.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting processes for all cycles with accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to internal stakeholders and shareholders
• Conduct deep financial analysis to identify trends and actionable insights
• Support shareholder reporting materials including board presentations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financials with business strategy
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards and internal policies
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, risks, and opportunities
• Contribute to strategic planning via financial modelling and scenario analysis
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and transparency
• Translate financial data and insights for English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional finance experience in an international company
• Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis
• Experience in shareholder reporting and working with executive stakeholders
• Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Bachelor in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
• Solid understanding of international financial standards
