Mynameis is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Client's finance global team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the creation of the annual financial statements and budget.
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, according to accounting standards like IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Perform audit procedures to verify the accuracy and reliability of financial information.
  • Cooperate with various accounting processes, such as bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of SDI and electronic invoicing processes.
  • Execute transactions in SAP and Zucchetti, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Track and manage fixed assets, including depreciation schedules and asset disposals.
  • Oversee the processing and reconciliation of employee expense reports.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Provide guidance to the global team on accounting issues, financial planning, and risk management.
  • Ensure that tasks adhere to relevant accounting and tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Board of Statutory Auditors and other corporate bodies to ensure compliance and effective communication.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, reporting, and controlling activities to support financial decision-making.
  • Extract and prepare data presentations using IT programs such as Excel and PowerBI, ensuring clarity and readability.
  • Apply understanding of Italian fiscal regulations, including reconciliations, VAT, CU, withholding taxes, etc.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics or related field.
  • Minimum B2 level proficiency in English, with daily use of written and spoken English for interaction with the global team.
  • Professional background in a structured multinational company, preferably in the manufacturing sector, and/or experience in Big4 managerial consulting roles, specifically in accounting operations.
