Job Description:

We are on a mission to drive and expand Onitsuka Tiger’s global business and become the most iconic premium lifestyle brand. Currently, we are establishing a strong organization to expand our business in Europe, and we require an Allocator to proactively participate in this activity.

The FP&A specialist is responsible for supporting the budget and forecasting processes of Onitsuka Tiger EMEA business. They will draw up financial reports and provide business/variance analysis to support periodic business performance reviews and operational decision-making.

The contract is fixed-term with the possibility to convert to indefinite after 1 year.

Role & responsibilities:

• Optimize the use of financial and business information, develop and prepare local management reports to support business decision-making
• Perform financial report analysis before the monthly closing process finalized by the local accounting team
• Analyze monthly/quarterly P&L, Profit Contribution, and other reports; discuss deviations from the budget with relevant business managers; monitor action plans to overcome negative deviations
• Act as the local planning coordinator and manage the internal planning calendar (budget, forecast, mid-term financial plan)
• Support the local/OHQ business team during the planning process with tools, review, and challenge planning results
• Communicate frequently with business functions to drive strategy and achieve targets
• Conduct periodic forecasting and gap analysis against actual results to meet the bottom line
• Communicate actively with the OHQ finance team for finance-related work
• Assist local/OHQ business teams with daily and ad hoc requests for finance work
• Address special issues such as impairment, leases, M&A, and provisions
• Ensure J-Sox internal controls are correctly executed
• Process invoices and payments to maintain cash flow and analyze financial data to manage budgets and reduce costs
• Support other necessary tasks as requested

Requirements:

• 4+ years’ experience in finance, accounting, or planning
• Experience in retail or fashion industry preferred
• Experience with SAP system preferred
• Analytical and process-oriented mindset
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, taxes, and treasury
• Good collaboration, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proven problem-solving and time management skills with the ability to prioritize
• Self-confidence to drive results
• Teamwork and open-mindedness
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Proficient in English (verbal and written)
