Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded firmware in C/C++.
• Support the Software Team in the development and validation of control algorithms.
• Design and simulate control strategies using tools like PLECS and Simulink.
• Validate algorithms both in simulation and on real hardware.
• Collaborate with hardware and system engineers to ensure seamless integration.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of control performance and system reliability.
• Produce clear documentation including specifications, test reports, and user manuals.

Qualifications

• Firmware & Control Engineer or Embedded Software Engineer.
• M.Sc. in Software, Electronics, Automation Engineering or similar fields.
• Proven experience in Firmware development.
• Strong knowledge of embedded programming in C/C++.
• Familiarity with simulation environments like PLECS and Simulink.
• Experience with microcontrollers (NXP, ST).
• Automotive background is a plus.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
• Strong motivation with the Employeneurship model.
