Location: Venice Beach, CA
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $72,000–$80,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Belles Beach House is a lively, Hawaiian-inspired restaurant and bar just steps from the sand in Venice Beach. Known for high-energy service, strong hospitality, and a laid-back yet elevated atmosphere, we are seeking a Floor Manager with a strong presence and a passion for leading teams on the floor.
This role is ideal for a hospitality leader who thrives during service, connects naturally with guests and staff, and knows how to keep a high-volume dining room running smoothly.
About the Role
As Floor Manager, you will be a visible leader on the floor, responsible for driving service standards, supporting the team in real time, and ensuring a seamless guest experience. While administrative skills are important, this role is first and foremost about leadership, energy, and execution during service .
What You’ll Do
- Lead the dining room during high-volume service with confidence and composure
- Set the tone for hospitality, professionalism, and pace
- Coach, motivate, and support front-of-house teams in real time
- Anticipate service needs and resolve issues proactively
- Engage with guests and handle concerns with warmth and urgency
- Maintain service standards, flow, and team accountability
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar leadership to ensure smooth operations
- Support training, scheduling, and daily operational needs

- Management experience in high-volume restaurants or bars
- Strong floor presence and natural leadership style
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stay calm and decisive in fast-paced environments
