FP&A Analyst – Italy (Milan)

A key member of the Finance team based in Milan, the FP&A Analyst reports to the Head of FP&A for Italy. The role focuses on analysing and forecasting financial information to support Senior Management in critical decision‑making across the Italian portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and year‑end financial reporting with full scope on the consolidated view of managerial results, including operating assets, projects under development, and service companies.
• Review financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for the Italy business.
• Develop budgets and forecasts, support cash‑flow estimation for distributions to shareholders, and prepare and present financial reports to Senior Management and non‑financial stakeholders.
• Conduct variance analyses comparing actual results with budgeted and forecasted figures, identify variances, and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Create ad‑hoc reports as required and ensure financial data is accurate, up‑to‑date, and effectively used by the business.

Qualifications

• Background in financial planning & analysis or controlling within a corporate environment.
• Proven expertise in financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
• Hands‑on experience preparing managerial reports and presenting financial insights to Senior Management.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written (additional languages a plus).
• Tech fluency, including familiarity with or interest in developing AI tools to streamline data preparation and reporting.

Desirable Skills

• Background in FP&A or controlling within a corporate environment.
• Expertise in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting.
• Hands‑on experience preparing managerial reports and presenting insights to Senior Management.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
• Tech fluency, interest in developing AI tools.
