Our Client is one of the leading biopharmaceutical companies focused on the development of innovative therapeutic solutions.

Il Ruolo

The position will be part of the Global Strategic Controlling Team and will be in charge of the day-by-day management and participation in the overall reporting and analysis processes, supporting the Head of Global Strategic Controlling for all cross-reference topics within the Controlling team.

Main responsibilities :

  1. Analysis & Design in support of the Head of Department: analyze and understand the business requirements to define the best solutions for supporting business processes and drive global finance projects respecting timelines and budgets;
  2. Prepare monthly reporting packages and books for Top management, evaluate process effectiveness, and propose corrective actions for continuous improvement of company processes, timeliness, and data accuracy;
  3. Enhance existing consolidation, forecast, and corporate performance reporting tools & processes, acting as the focal point for queries, issues, developments, and improvements;
  4. Prepare consolidated monthly closing reports, forecasts, budgets, and short- and mid-term plans;
  5. Manage TP IC policy data calculation and consolidation postings;
  6. Ensure reconciliation between Managerial Accounting and General Accounting;
  7. Collaborate with business partners and finance teams to ensure timely monthly financial reporting and analysis;
  8. Coordinate and input data for statistical questionnaires from external organizations under Controlling department responsibility;
  9. Develop headcount / CoL reports and analysis in partnership with HR;
  10. Support fiscal consultants in obtaining Patent Box fiscal credits;
  11. Monitor processes and support R&D controllers on Tax credit calculations;
  12. Standardize and harmonize reports;
  13. Identify risks and opportunities in finance processes;
  14. Participate in projects and ad hoc analyses related to relevant initiatives.

I Requisiti

  • University Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or Administration;
  • At least 10 years of experience in Accounting, Controlling, System Integration, or Consulting;
  • Experience with SAP FI / CO and Business Intelligence tools is highly appreciated;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially advanced Excel skills;
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with Senior Management;
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously, liaising with various stakeholders across departments;
  • Fast learner with attention to data accuracy and quick response to ad hoc initiatives;
  • Team-player with effective collaborative skills;
  • Fluent in English.
