Boda Guide is looking for freelance Tourist Guides, Tour Leaders and Interpreters based in Rome to join the first network of qualified local professionals available through our travel-tech platform.

Boda Guide connects travellers, international clients and companies with reliable local professionals for guided visits, cultural experiences, travel assistance, interpretation and language support.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for qualified and reliable professionals, including:

• Licensed Tourist Guides
• Tour Leaders
• Professional Interpreters
• Tourism and hospitality professionals
• Cultural, language and travel-service professionals with relevant experience

The role:

Approved professionals may provide services to travellers, private clients, groups or companies visiting Rome.

Services may include:

• Guided visits and cultural experiences
• Private walking tours
• Travel assistance in Rome
• Interpretation or language support
• Support for international clients and companies
• Custom local experiences based on the professional’s expertise

Responsibilities:

• Provide a professional, reliable and high-quality service
• Communicate clearly with international clients
• Manage availability and service information accurately
• Respect agreed times, meeting points and booking conditions
• Comply with applicable laws, professional requirements and local regulations
• Represent your professional profile with accuracy and transparency

Requirements:

• Based in Rome or available to provide services in Rome
• Relevant experience in tourism, guiding, interpretation, hospitality, culture, events or language services
• Strong communication skills
• Professional attitude, punctuality and reliability
• Ability to work with international clients
• At least one professional working language among those listed above
• Professional licence, certification, qualification or proof of experience where required

Collaboration type:

This is a freelance collaboration opportunity.

It is not a full-time or part-time employment contract. Approved professionals remain independent and may accept or decline service requests according to their availability, professional profile and booking conditions.

Compensation:

Services are paid on a freelance basis.

Compensation may vary depending on the service type, duration, requested language, professional profile and the average market rates in Rome for the specific service.

Rates and booking conditions will always be defined before the service is confirmed.

Launch promotion:

For approved professionals in Rome, Boda Guide currently applies 0% platform commission on services booked through the platform until 31 December 2026.

This means that, during the launch promotion period, Boda Guide will not retain any platform commission from the professional’s earnings on confirmed services.
