Responsibilities


The Front Desk Agent will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:


  • Efficiently manage the check-in and check-out process, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests.
  • Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and offering assistance when needed. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Assist guests with reservations, modifications, and cancellations while ensuring accurate information is inputted into the hotel’s reservation system.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel’s services, amenities, local attractions, and dining options, ensuring they have all the information they need for a pleasant stay.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and management, to ensure guest requests are met promptly.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and ensure accurate billing procedures are followed.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns in a professional and efficient manner, escalating issues to management as necessary.
  • Monitor the front desk area for security and safety concerns and follow hotel procedures for emergencies.
  • Perform various administrative duties, including maintaining records, filing, and managing correspondence.


Skills


To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:


  • Front Desk experience in Hotel of same category, preferable in Luxury Marriott Properties.
  • Excellent command of Italian and English. Additional languages will be appreciated.
  • High school diploma or GED; experience in the guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
  • Calm, organized work, strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs preferred.
  • Proficiency in Opera PMS, MGS, MARSHA Operational Systems required.
