As a Front Office Host at Park Hyatt Milano, you will be the face of the hotel, creating a warm, welcoming, and elegant arrival and departure experience for our guests. With a refined attention to detail and a deep understanding of personalized service, you will ensure each guest feels valued, recognized, and cared for throughout their stay. This role requires presence, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality.


Main Duties and responsibiliti


  • Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience.
  • Handle guest registration, room assignments, and payment procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Provide personalized assistance by anticipating guest needs and offering thoughtful suggestions or solutions.
  • Maintain accurate guest records, preferences, and VIP profiles to ensure bespoke service.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, both in person and over the phone, in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Manage room changes, billing inquiries, and special requests with precision and empathy.
  • Promote the hotel’s services and amenities, as well as the Park Hyatt brand values.
  • Ensure a polished and professional appearance of the reception area at all times.
  • Handle any guest concerns or complaints diplomatically, escalating when necessary and following up to ensure resolution.
  • To actively upsell and cross sell hotel services and outlets.


Qualifications:


We are looking for a candidate who is currently in a similar role or has Front Office experience in hotels, who has:

  • A Diploma/Degree in Hospitality/Hotel Management, with minimum of 1 year work experience as Receptionist in a hotel.
  • Ability to work well with others in a guest and team-focused environment
  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
  • Knowledge in Opera is an advantage
  • Verbal and written English and Italian languages proficiency are required
