Mission

The Furnaces Mechanical Engineer will be assigned to ongoing projects and will contribute to the preparation of key technical documentation and deliverables within their field of competence.

Working under the supervision of senior engineers, the role ensures that all outputs meet quality standards, comply with project requirements, and are delivered according to schedule.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Responsible and in collaboration with the Furnaces Engineering team, the candidate will:

  • Support the Furnaces Engineer in ensuring the quality, consistency, and compliance of engineering deliverables with contractual requirements, company standards, and internal procedures
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical documentation, including calculations, drawings, and material requisitions
  • Assist in the review and validation of vendor documentation, ensuring alignment with project specifications
  • Draft basic technical documents to be further reviewed by senior team members
  • Participate in project activities in coordination with the Project Leader and engineering team
  • Take part in internal technical training programs and actively share knowledge within the team
  • Stay continuously updated on technological developments and improvements within the furnaces discipline

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in industrial or plant engineering environments
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working in international and complex project environments
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage and resolve conflicting situations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally
  • Availability to travel for short assignments in Italy and abroad
