We are looking for a GA Shop Launch Manager
Mission
Lead the preparation, execution, and stabilization of the General Assembly Shop during new vehicle launches and industrial changes, ensuring full product & process readiness , adherence to project milestones, and a smooth transition to serial production.
Deliver results in line with Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Ergonomics standards .
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or equivalent experience)
- Solid experience in Manufacturing – General Assembly
- Proven track record in:
- Vehicle launches and ramp-ups
- Industrial upgrades or line start-ups
- Hands-on experience in shop-floor operations and launch environments
Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of GA processes (Trim, Chassis, Final Line)
- Expertise in line balancing, cycle time, ergonomics, and workstation readiness
- Experience with EOL systems and functional testing
- Familiarity with JES / SOW, KPI tracking, and issue escalation management
Soft Skills
- Strong operational leadership on the shop floor
- Ability to manage complexity and priorities in fast-paced environments
- Results-driven mindset with focus on process stability
- Effective cross-functional communication and stakeholder coordination
