Description Reporting directly to the Europe Accounting Manager, you will act as the accounting reference point for the Italian entity and support the finance organization in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Main Responsibilities Include
Manage month‑end and year‑end closing activities
Prepare, review and post journal entries, accruals, provisions and adjustments
Perform General Ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
Analyze and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balances
Support inventory accounting, cost accounting activities and variance analysis
Ensure compliance with Italian accounting principles and statutory requirements
Support VAT, tax reporting activities and interactions with external advisors
Prepare periodic financial reports for local and international stakeholders
Collaborate with auditors during statutory and group audit processes
Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and SOX requirements
Support US GAAP reporting and period‑end reporting requirements
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes
Partner with Finance, Operations and local management to improve reporting quality and operational efficiency
Participate in international projects and process harmonization initiatives across Europe
Profile We are looking for a finance professional who combines strong technical accounting skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
Requirements
Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance or similar disciplines
At least 6 years of experience in General Ledger Accounting or similar accounting roles
Solid knowledge of Italian accounting standards, VAT and statutory reporting
Previous experience in multinational or structured industrial environments
Experience managing month‑end and year‑end closing activities independently
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP; experience with Navision or Oracle will also be considered positively
Advanced Excel skillsAdvanced Excel skills
Fluent Italian and English
Comfortable participating in daily calls and meetings with international stakeholders
Personal Skills
Open‑minded and dynamic approach
Strong team‑player attitude
Ability to build effective relationships with managers and business stakeholders
Analytical mindset and attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously while maintaining high levels of collaboration

Gross Annual Salary around €60,000, depending on experience and overall fit
Hybrid working model: 2 days per week remote working
