Job Description

Frette is seeking a General Manager, EMEA to oversee and manage all commercial divisions within the region, including Retail, Contract/Trade, third-party Distributors/Wholesale partners, and Hospitality.

The individual is responsible for P&L management for each business unit, ensuring efficient operations and strategic growth to maximize sales, profitability, and account penetration.

This person must be a hands-on, self-starting, analytical thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

Strategic Planning & Analysis

  • Develop and lead the execution of the company’s commercial strategy for the EMEA region, defining KPIs, targets, and a roadmap for maximizing revenue and market share for the Frette brand.
  • With direct reports, analyze customer feedback and market trends to develop and implement new strategies, tools, and resources.
  • Find innovative solutions and tools, such as new technology, to support customer experience in-store and elevate service.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on performance to senior management and the Board.

Business Development

  • Seek new partnerships, collaborations, and growth opportunities. Identify potential markets, evaluate expansion options, and negotiate strategic partnerships or acquisitions.
  • Ensure alignment of business practices, standards, and initiatives across all markets for a consistent client experience.
  • Drive Frette’s market position and ensure the delivery of quality services and products according to brand standards.
  • Attend networking and trade events within the region as a brand ambassador.

Transformational Leadership

  • Provide feedback on market needs to proactively drive growth and profitability.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure the highest quality of products, services, and customer experience within the area.
  • Conduct market research and use data-driven insights for informed decision-making.

Cross-functional & Team Leadership

  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, product development, marketing, and other departments to align commercial strategies with overall business goals.
  • Support the rollout of new launches with internal teams (visual merchandising, CRM, marketing).
  • Recruit, train, and manage employees, fostering a positive work environment and providing ongoing feedback and coaching.
  • Inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals and work autonomously with sound judgment.

Qualifications

  • Proven success in developing and executing commercial strategies for B2C and B2B markets in the EMEA region (EU and GCC), luxury experience preferred.
  • Expertise in financial analysis and budgeting.
  • Strong ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Resourceful, collaborative, and a creative problem-solver.
  • Foster cross-functional teamwork and communication.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 35%.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English, verbal and written.

Additional Information

We offer a contract under the ccnl Textile-industry at a level commensurate with experience, daily tickets from €8, and competitive welfare benefits. The weekly schedule is 40 hours, Monday to Friday, with flexible opening hours (8:30-9:30 and 17:30-18:30). Frette also offers a flexible Smart Working arrangement for two days a week.
