Overview

We are seeking an experienced General Manager for the opening of a new 5-star hotel in Lecce. As Hotel Director , you will oversee daily operations, provide leadership, and set strategic direction to ensure excellent service, operational excellence, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational reports and hotel accounts to monitor performance and trends.
• Develop annual budgets aligned with commercial objectives, market conditions, and historical data.
• Ensure costs and productivity are aligned with revenue performance.
• Manage commercial activities, including rate structuring and market analysis.
• Identify commercial opportunities, engage with potential clients, and maximize in-house guest potential.
• Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management to optimize room revenue.
• Implement corporate policies and projects across departments such as CRM, Marketing, and Quality.
• Engage with guests, address complaints, and ensure high service standards.
• Represent the hotel in community and industry events.
• Regularly inspect facilities and enforce health and safety standards.
• Monitor and develop team performance, providing coaching, evaluations, and recognition.
• Recruit, interview, and train staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a General Manager, preferably in a 5-star hotel.
• International experience and multi-property management are highly valued.
• Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field.
• Knowledge of revenue management principles and commercial policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Front Office systems.
• Fluency in the local language and high proficiency in English.
• Results-oriented with attention to detail.
• Strong commercial acumen and sales skills.
• Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Decisive problem-solving abilities.
