We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead our Italy business – a strategically important operation with a strong team and significant untapped growth potential. This is a unique opportunity to drive transformation, accelerate growth, and shape strategy in one of Europe’s most dynamic and regulated agricultural markets, focused on high-value specialty crops.
The Role You will have full ownership of the Italian business, with responsibility for:
Defining and delivering the local growth strategy aligned to Europe
Owning the P&L, driving revenue, profitability, and market share
Expanding existing accounts and developing new customers and segments
Leading and developing a high‑performing team (~70 employees)
Strengthening customer relationships and market positioning
Driving operational excellence across planning, supply, and execution
What We Are Looking For
10+ years’ experience in the agrochemical/agriculture sector
Proven success in senior commercial or country leadership roles
Strong P&L management and growth delivery experience
Strategic mindset with the ability to execute and lead change
Fluent Italian and English
Willingness to travel (~50%)
