We are a leading Italian company in the global tourism and hospitality industry, and for our 5-star upcoming exclusive opening located in the Umbrian countryside near Perugia, we are looking for an experienced, visionary General Manager to lead the opening and operational launch in 2026.
He/she will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of the hotel, ensuring the highest level of guest service and satisfaction, in coordination with Accor - Emblems standards.
Main Responsabilities:
- Supervise the property's overall strategy, performance and profitability, ensuring it is operating with excellence
- Lead with high integrity and alignment with Accor’s Emblems core values to maximize revenue and profit opportunities and ensure efficient and effective management of the property
- Lead a diverse team that builds the trust of others in all interactions and cultivates a positive guest experience
- Find ways to improve all areas of the property and be able to adapt to change.
- He/she will supervise staff, coordinate daily activities and develop strategies for increasing profitability and enhancing the overall guest experience.
- Ensure employee training in coordination with Accor - Emblems standards on recruiting, onboarding and training procedures
- To develop a strategic vision through managers in the hotel
- To develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures for the overall operations of each department or the entire facility
- Supervise and handle any complaints to find a solution immediately and improve service, always aiming for the best.
- Use data in daily problem solving to address underperformance, test ideas, learn, and accurately measure impact
- Support colleagues and people managers in their wellness journey so they can be at their best
- Promote colleagues' experience by showing empathy and listening in their daily responsibilities
- Set the pace and tone within the property with passion and enthusiasm that compels others to follow
- Cultivate an atmosphere where leaders are encouraged to look for new ways to capture, amplify and reinforce the right behaviours
- Ensure that property operations, guest service and business offerings are aligned with the Accor-Emblems brand
Requirements for the position:
- Currently working as General Manager
- Experience in Luxury timeless, elegant and understated
- F&B experience
- Experience in Revenue & Sales
- Budget management
- Knowledge of contractual aspects, labour legislation and knowledge of current regulations.
- Organizational and managerial skills
- Professionalism and courtesy
- Overall vision
- Negotiation skills.
