Global Digital Merchandising Specialist At Diesel Headquarters, located in Milano, we are looking for a Global Digital Merchandising Specialist who will be placed within the Global E‑Commerce Department. He/She will be reporting directly to the Digital Merchandising & Content Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the digital merchandising strategies for diesel.com at global level, ensuring alignment with business objectives, product strategy and customer expectations;
Coordinate Visual Merchandising activities across markets by providing global guidelines that are aligned with seasonal trends, collection performance, delivery timelines and inventory availability;
Partner with Merchandising and Marketing teams in the Global Product Editorial Calendar definition, ensuring alignment of the final output with the needs and the strategy of the Online Channel;
Actively collaborate with the Content Production team on e‑commerce product shooting activities, providing competitor benchmarks and guidelines to support commercial objectives and enhance product presentation;
Monitor sales performance and other key digital metrics and respond accordingly with data‑drive actions to optimize product placement and boost conversion;
Prepare presentations on a regular basis and provide valuable reports and insights to decision‑makers;
Continuously optimize the customer experience by implementing best practices in digital merchandising to drive conversion, improve product searchability and visual presentation;
Stay up‑to‑date with the latest digital merchandising trends and constantly monitor competitors and emerging trends to stay ahead in best practices and provide benchmarks to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a Fashion & Luxury Company;
Master’s degree in economics, marketing, or another relevant field;
Strong analytical skills; PowerBI knowledge will be considered a plus;
Professional knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint;
Familiarity with Adobe Analytics tool, SFCC and Algolia would be a plus;
Experience with A/B testing and data‑driven decision‑making;
Excellent communication and presentation skills;
Passionate about the fashion industry and able to be up‑to‑date with market trends and competitor strategies within the eCommerce landscape;
Good eye for content/images, product shootings and visual sensibility;
Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and attention to details;
Fluent in English and Italian;
Must have passion for digital contents and products.
Location: Milano/Breganze
Compensation & Level
CCNL Textile Industry, Level 6°;
Salary range (gross annual): €35.000 – €40.000;
Variable incentive plan: 5% of gross annual salary.
