Opportunity
Hitachi Energy invites a Global Enterprise Architect for Marketing & Sales to shape global IT architecture, drive alignment between business and technology, contribute to IT strategy, and enable innovation. The role partners with solution architects and portfolio leaders to deliver cohesive, future‑ready IT solutions.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Develop IT policies, standards and guidelines that steer the selection, development, implementation and use of IT application solutions and technologies within Hitachi Energy.
- Assess the IT architecture and service landscape, recommend improvements and keep knowledge up to date on new and emerging processes, IT technology and industry practices.
- Design and lead implementation of the Enterprise Architecture Roadmap for the relevant domain, aligned to business requirements and IT strategies, identifying opportunities, gaps and pain points.
- Support evaluation of Business Capabilities with owners, map them with applications, and generate coverage heat‑maps and KPI reports.
- Participate in Business Process Domain Councils, advise members on suitable IT solutions and road‑maps, and drive the enterprise architecture process.
- Work closely with stakeholders (business managers, IT service managers, domain architects, solution architects, IT sourcing and third‑party suppliers) to align expectations and technical requirements with Hitachi Energy IT policies and procedures.
Your Background
- 10+ years of experience with Marketing and Sales Knowledge Applications and application development & management processes and solutions, including Salesforce, SAP S4, Anaplan, Conga, Adobe AEM, and analytics tools.
- Understanding of frameworks such as CSVLOD Model, TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF for enterprise architecture design, and practical experience with ServiceNow CMDB, SAP LeanIX or Ardoq.
- Experience translating business requirements into IT capabilities and solutions, and communicating complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to align IT strategy with business goals to drive digital transformation, identify and mitigate risks, and stay updated on emerging technologies and trends.
- Fluent in English with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and experience working with senior management and abroad.
