ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Group Head of Cybersecurity, who will be the first fully dedicated internal IT role within Ourvita Group. The position is accountable for protecting the Group’s information assets and technology environment by establishing effective cybersecurity risk management and governance. While this is a leadership and governance role, you will also provide strategic oversight on security architecture, ensuring that appropriate frameworks, controls, and standards are consistently applied across business, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Your main location will be in one of our sites in Italy (Bergamo or Turin). Availability to travel internationally is required.

YOUR IMPACT:

• Security strategy, guidelines and policies : define and maintain the enterprise information security strategy, establish security policies, standards, and minimum control frameworks
• Cybersecurity operations : oversee cybersecurity operations and incident response, perform ongoing cyber risk assessments and reporting, support M&A cyber due diligence and secure integration, act as escalation authority during major cyber incidents. Manage third‑party and supply‑chain security risk
• Compliance & training : ensure compliance with regulations and security standards (e.g. NIS2, GDPR etc), lead security awareness and training programs
• Project Management : coordinate with Group and Local IT teams and with other relevant business functions to successfully implement guidelines and projects

YOUR EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in a senior cybersecurity leadership role (CISO, Head of Security, or equivalent), and\or a solid professional background in multinational companies or in consulting with a focus on CyberSec global initiatives.
• Experience delivering across complex, cross-functional and international environments
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, NIS, etc.)
• Solid understanding of security architecture principles across applications, infrastructure, networks, and cloud/hybrid environments
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise architecture and global business requirements
• Demonstrated ability to define and implement policies, procedures, and security standards

YOUR SKILLS:

• Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related discipline with clear evidence of continued professional development in support of their expertise.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills across all organizational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, manage workload, and operate both independently and collaboratively
• Fluency in English
• Professional certifications are a plus
