Purpose
You lead the engineering efforts to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of process systems within our operations. Your expertise is vital in optimizing processes, solving complex engineering challenges, and driving continuous improvement in production performance.
Responsibilities
You oversee and manage process engineering activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of production systems within FPSO units. You develop and implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce operational costs, increase production output and reduce emissions. You actively contribute to develop and improve our management system, working procedures and operating manuals to ensure a robust Production governance. You lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex process issues, providing technical solutions and recommendations to resolve challenges effectively. You collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and project engineering, to integrate best practices and ensure smooth process operations. You review and approve process design and modifications, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. You mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technical staff, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing within the team. You manage and support process‑related projects, from concept through execution, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. You prepare and present detailed technical reports, performance metrics, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders. You contribute to auditing processes to ensure we are in control of our assets.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
Experience
12+ years of experience in process engineering roles within the oil and gas industry with a minimum of 5 years in Operation is required.
