We are currently recruiting a Global Corporate Procurement Direct Manager.

This is a key role within Amplifon organization and especially within Procurement & Supply Chain global community. Leadership, ability to drive initiatives and make things happen on a global scale as well as at a country level are essential to be able to succeed together with international standing and ability to create consensus around proposals and decisions. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Actively lead and/or participate as a key player in designing and executing Core Suppliers strategy for Direct Procurement (Hearing Aids – HA – manufacturers) for the entire Group.
  • Full HA COGS monitoring and control
  • Identify COGS areas of optimization by new analytical approaches and benchmarks, set up and drive initiatives to make it happen
  • Guide contract implementation and execution
  • Create consensus and drive alignment between Global Supplier Strategy and individual market needs
  • Guarantee and drive adherence of each market to supplier strategy indications
  • Point of contact for internal stakeholders’ and countries’ needs with a business partner attitude
  • Supplier relationship management including Supplier Business Reviews, Supplier Scorecards, and Suppliers Improvement plans.
  • Design and execute Supplier strategy for non-core categories
  • Lead global cross-function initiatives, both as a stream leader or as a program leader
  • Promote and drive change (be a “Change Agent”) by active participation in relevant initiatives of current Transformation Master Plan

Main Sourcing Categories managed: Hearing Aids, Hearing Aids accessories, Hearing Aids spare parts.

Main KPIs: Supplier SoW, cost saving, supplier quality (products & services), payment terms, contract coverage, process adoption & compliance

SCOPE AND SCALE

  • Reporting: solid line to the Global Direct Procurement Sr. Director

MAIN TASKS

  • Guarantee regular reporting on HA Suppliers performances
  • Supplier SoW monitoring and governance aligned to Global Strategy
  • Perform standard and “ad hoc” analytics on HA Supplier performances to identify potential improvements
  • Prepare and execute sourcing initiatives for HA, partnering with Sr. Director and CPSCO
  • Negotiate with HA and non-core suppliers
  • Support HA portfolio rationalization and optimal utilization with Supply Chain and Product Development
  • Manage key suppliers through best practices like contract management, scorecards, and business reviews
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Troubleshoot issues and propose solutions in alignment with stakeholders and suppliers
  • Oversee internal processes and drive continuous improvement
  • Lead initiatives in Quality, Reporting, Cost Reduction, Procedures, and Supplier Audits

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance & Economics, or related field
  • + years of experience in Procurement
  • Experience in negotiating and finalizing supplier contracts
