As the OPTIMAX Global Product Manager, you will work within a full Product Life Cycle perspective, and you will be responsible for long‑term profitable growth of your product portfolio given market needs and overall Energy Industries business strategy. In this role you will balance technical and customer‑centric requirements as well as integrate efforts with Operations Management, R&D, Sales & Marketing to develop and deliver profitable global product solutions.

Your role and responsibilities
Building and executing an overall OPTIMAX product strategy for EN Plant Optimization, also considering Advanced Process Control and special applications within the Energy Industries Sustainability pillar.
Define the product roadmap and new features and functions that will help grow the overall business, working closely with R&D to implement these portfolio recommendations and as well as prioritizing the new product developments with responsibility to achieve the targets.
Understand and anticipate external market needs and customer requirements and interface with internal functions like product development, operations, financials, marketing, sales, service, business development.
Own go‑to‑market messaging including internal messaging documents, segment‑specific offering content, sales/customer‑driven demos, and thought leadership articles and presentations. Work with marketing on the external and internal websites keeping them up to date.
Identify and drive the development of new market together with the business development colleagues, support in identifying opportunities in the designated market and ensures know‑how sharing and cross‑collaboration. Support identifying interesting M&A opportunities.
You will be accountable for the yearly business orders, margin and related financials targets of your product portfolio.
Qualifications for the role
Master's degree in chemical, control or electrical engineering, or equivalent.
15+ years of experience in product management and in developing energy, process and emissions optimization solutions, with knowledge of software‑related business models for energy industry segments.
Strong understanding of modern ways of developing products and the latest ICT technologies (Cloud, Edge, AI, as examples).
Good knowledge of processes with relevant experience in Energy Industries (Refineries, Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Power Generation).
Ability to translate service concepts and external requirements into clear value propositions and technical requirements.
Well‑developed communication, influencing, coaching and leadership skills.
