Role Overview:

The Global Product Manager plays a crucial role in managing and evolving Cavotec’s ShorePower portfolio. This role ensures product success by:

  • Leading product lifecycle management
  • Understanding customer needs and market trends
  • Driving product development and improvements
  • Supporting sales and marketing teams in commercial activities


Key Responsabilities:

Product Management & Development

  • Define and manage product roadmap , ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
  • Prioritize and coordinate product development efforts with engineering teams .
  • Monitor product performance metrics , including quality, profitability, and turnover.

Market & Customer Engagement

  • Conduct customer interviews to refine product specifications.
  • Assess market trends and industry drivers to guide product evolution.
  • Develop business cases and sales collateral to support commercial activities.

Sales & Business Enablement

  • Train sales teams on product knowledge and applications.
  • Assist in customer engagement, tender preparation, and product presentations .
  • Represent the product portfolio at trade shows, conferences, and webinars .


Requirements:

  • MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in engineered electrotechnical or electromechanical equipment (5-7 years preferred).
  • 3+ years in product management, product marketing, or business development .
  • Ability to define, refine, and improve product portfolios based on customer and market insights.
  • Strong ability to present clear, impactful information to stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English (Italian is a plus).
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive and resourceful approach.
  • Exposure to Ports & Maritime sector is preferred.


Up to 30% travel , primarily within Europe , with potential global engagements.
