Role Overview:
The Global Product Manager plays a crucial role in managing and evolving Cavotec’s ShorePower portfolio. This role ensures product success by:
- Leading product lifecycle management
- Understanding customer needs and market trends
- Driving product development and improvements
- Supporting sales and marketing teams in commercial activities
Key Responsabilities:
Product Management & Development
- Define and manage product roadmap , ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
- Prioritize and coordinate product development efforts with engineering teams .
- Monitor product performance metrics , including quality, profitability, and turnover.
Market & Customer Engagement
- Conduct customer interviews to refine product specifications.
- Assess market trends and industry drivers to guide product evolution.
- Develop business cases and sales collateral to support commercial activities.
Sales & Business Enablement
- Train sales teams on product knowledge and applications.
- Assist in customer engagement, tender preparation, and product presentations .
- Represent the product portfolio at trade shows, conferences, and webinars .
Requirements:
- MSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in engineered electrotechnical or electromechanical equipment (5-7 years preferred).
- 3+ years in product management, product marketing, or business development .
- Ability to define, refine, and improve product portfolios based on customer and market insights.
- Strong ability to present clear, impactful information to stakeholders.
- Fluent in English (Italian is a plus).
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive and resourceful approach.
- Exposure to Ports & Maritime sector is preferred.
Up to 30% travel , primarily within Europe , with potential global engagements.
