- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or other engineering disciplines, with an MBA preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in product management, strategic marketing, or similar roles within the Uninterruptible Power Supply Systems (UPS) market.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to influence key customers and partners, and experience leading within a matrix organization.
- Experience in leading mid-size teams and influencing strategic business directions while driving tangible actions to ensure progress.
- Global mindset enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams and markets.
- Strong executive-level presentation and communication skills in English, complemented by superior business acumen and analytical skills.

Working as a Global Product Manager, you will be a key member of the marketing and sales team in ABB's Power Protection Product Group, defining marketing plans, including marketing communication, training, and sales initiatives. You will be accountable for the long-term profitable growth of assigned product lines, responsible for marketing the Power Protection Large UPS IEC offerings to target market segments, and managing offerings through all lifecycle phases, aligned with market needs and ABB’s Power Protection Global Product Group strategy. You will support business results by overseeing development, launch, go-to-market, maintenance, pricing, and profitability of offerings. The work model for this role is hybrid/remote. You will contribute to the Electrification Smart Power (ELSP) GPG Power Protection globally. Your main responsibilities include: - Collecting and analyzing market requirements (VOC), customer needs, and values to produce product specifications for R&D, supporting the creation of business cases for product development and market positioning based on identified opportunities. - Creating management and technical documentation related to product management, defining value propositions per segment and channel to ensure clear communication with channel partners and end customers. - Driving the roadmap to maximize value and ensure portfolio performance, owning the technical and market specifications for offerings, and developing business plans for sustainable growth. - Initiating and driving product market communication strategies, including planning and implementing product launches, while monitoring global sales targets and tender volumes, taking corrective actions as necessary. - Leading the lifecycle management process, being responsible for offering profitability and margin, and contributing to the annual and quarterly business planning processes.
