The Structured Equity and Credit Financing Analyst will support the execution and structuring of financing solutions for private funds. This role involves legal documents analysis, credit analysis, due diligence and transaction execution, working closely with senior team members to structure tailored financing solutions. The successful candidate will gain hands‑on experience in fund financing (e.g. subscription line, NAV financing, PE CFOs).
What you'll be doing
- Support the structuring, negotiation, and execution of fund financing transactions, including sublines and NAV-based lending
- Assist in preparing credit applications and transaction approval documents, ensuring alignment with the bank’s risk policies.
- Work with legal, risk and other internal teams to facilitate deal execution and ensure adherence to internal framework.
- Analyze fund structures, investor compositions, and collateral characteristics to evaluate creditworthiness.
- Perform due diligence on funds, asset managers, and investment strategies, identifying key risks and mitigants.
- Support assessment of legal and operational risks, including side letter constraints, investor excuse rights, capital call mechanics and cash‑flow waterfalls for NAV deals.
- Monitor market trends in fund finance and private markets to support business development.
- Track performance of existing transactions: covenant compliance, reporting packs, borrowing base updates, asset/investor concentration and early warning indicators. Maintain internal monitoring tools and prepare periodic portfolio reviews, watchlist notes and ad‑hoc risk updates. Support amendments, waivers and incremental increases, including refreshed analysis and documentation impact assessment.
- Cooperate with other team members on pipeline management, client materials and internal briefings on opportunities and competitive positioning.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in banking, structured finance, leveraged finance, fund finance, or credit analysis (internships included) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset and interest for private markets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
- High attention to detail, execution discipline, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a deal environment.
- Familiarity with data tools (Power BI, VBA, Python) and market platforms (Bloomberg, PitchBook/Preqin) is a plus.
What you'll get in return
- Hands‑on experience across the full fund finance lifecycle—from structuring and credit approval through closing and portfolio monitoring
- Direct exposure to private markets and leading GPs, with steep learning and responsibility growth in a specialized team.
We are an equal opportunity employer.
