About the job:
For a dynamic and international Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Group Accounting Manager to lead and coordinate accounting activities across all subsidiaries. The ideal candidate is a mid-career professional with a strong background in consolidated financial reporting, preferably gained in a Big Four firm or multinational environment. This is a strategic and hands-on role, combining technical excellence with leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing the Group’s consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and internal standards. As a key figure in the finance team, you will manage closing processes, supervise local accounting teams, and drive process improvements. You will also play a pivotal role in the implementation of new ERP and CRM systems, acting as functional key user to ensure alignment between accounting needs and system configuration. The role offers exposure to senior management and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and oversee the Group’s consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes across subsidiaries
- Supervise local accounting teams and harmonize accounting policies
- Coordinate with external auditors and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Act as key user in ERP and CRM implementation projects (design, testing, training)
- Support the CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Provide technical accounting guidance and training to the finance team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Tax, Treasury, FP&A, IT) to ensure Group-wide alignment
Your Profile:
- Master’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACA, ACCA) is a strong plus
- 5–10 years of relevant experience, ideally including Big Four or multinational exposure
- Solid knowledge of IFRS and consolidation processes
- Experience in ERP/CRM implementation or system migration
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages are a plus
