Within the Sales Marketing & Commercial Development (SMCD) Function, supports in coordinating the commercial development activities at Group level, providing actionable guidelines based on in-depth market intelligence input.

He supports the spearheading of the commercial development initiatives within the organization. This role involves identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, optimizing revenue streams, and ensuring sustainable growth across various markets. The individual will collaborate with multiple departments, including Sales teams at local level, to align commercial activities with the overall business objectives.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the Top Management to align commercial strategies with the overall Industrial Plan and the Sustainability Roadmap.
  • Support in developing and implementing commercial development activities at Group level to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Collaborate with the other Sales teams at local level to receive inputs regarding new opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Assist in setting clear commercial targets and track performance against these goals, according to the Industrial plan and the Sustainability Roadmap guidelines.
  • Help identifying and develop new business opportunities and potential partnerships to expand the company's market presence (geographical or business lines).
  • Support in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and global Key accounts, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Support in negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners and clients
  • Collaborate with the AFC department to monitor and track budgets, forecasts, and sales related reports.
  • Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjusting strategies as needed to achieve targets and prepare regular reports on commercial performance, including sales, revenue, market analysis, etc.
  • Support in Sales Force Automation and potentially AI projects as well as in improving processes within sales and marketing activities.
  • Contribute to Group/cross Region/cross functional projects, leading the stream at Group lever and/or contributing on regional/BUs level.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Engineering. MBA or similar as a plus.
  • 4+ years international experience in similar role and area of accountability in a multinational company. Experience within building materials, building chemicals or construction as a plus.
  • Italian and English at professional level are a must. Any other additional languages as a plus.
  • Solid commercial and negotiation skills.
  • Strong in Excel, Power Point.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools, basic understanding of AI and IT literacy as a plus.
  • Good knowledge about financials.
  • Notable understanding of market, competition and customer dynamics; solid knowledge of sales and marketing models.
  • Excellent strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven strength in problem solving and analytics and capable of driving insight to action.
  • Results oriented and self-motivated and a strong attitude to be a team player.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/activities simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Travelling required (up to 30%) at international level.
