The structure has the following mission:
Ensure end-to-end accountability for global business solutions and ICT services related to the in-scope perimeter of Investment & Securities digital products (e.g., Advisory, Asset Management, Funds, and Securities business perimeter).
What you can expect from us
We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) / Product Specialist with expertise in Securities Services (Middle Office, Back Office, Static Data, Custodian). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IT solution design supporting Securities Services (Middle Office, Back Office). You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing IT solutions for post-trade securities processing while ensuring compliance with regulations. A strong background in securities reference data, financial instruments, and market infrastructure is essential.
Mandatory responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain static data related to financial instruments, counterparties, corporate actions, and regulatory reporting, including compliance with Italian market standards and regulations.
- Act as a key contact for internal teams and external stakeholders regarding static data queries and updates, working closely with operations, IT, and risk teams to improve data management processes and system functionality.
- Monitor market changes, ensuring timely updates and alignment of reference data with market developments.
- Support the integration and optimization of static data systems, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Assist in UAT testing, system migrations, and data validation for projects related to static data management.
What we expect from you
- At least 5 years of experience in IT Business Expertise in Securities Back Office.
- Deep understanding of securities services such as tax processing, corporate actions, custody and booking, reconciliation, accounting, regulatory reporting, and settlements.
- Experience working with market data providers, custodians, and central depositories in Italy.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
- High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Nice to have:
- Experience with CAD platforms.
- Familiarity with settlement systems, regulatory reporting, and SWIFT messaging.
- Experience with data governance, automation tools, and market data platforms.
- Ability to train and guide internal teams on static data handling best practices.
- Knowledge of MiFID II, EMIR, and other relevant financial regulations.
