Group Internal Audit Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Group Internal Audit Specialist to support the development and maintenance of our internal audit framework, while ensuring the efficient and effective execution of all ongoing audit processes and initiatives.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the planning and execution of various audits, including operational, financial, and compliance audits, in alignment with the annual audit plan.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support in planning and executing audit (operational, financial, compliance) in according to the annual audit plan;
• Collaborate on special projects on request of senior management (ad-hoc audits, project reviews, fraud investigations or similar);
• Prepare and present reports that reflect audit’s results, elaborating on potential solutions;
• Reviews and presents audit results, within planned time scales, that meet customer expectations and ensures the utmost efficiency during the audit work as well as the validity of the opinions expressed;
• Interacts with Management at all levels;
• Collect, examine, analyze, and verify information about the organization’s systems and processes by reviewing manuals, policies, reports, financial statements, and other written materials, and by interviewing organizational members where required;
• Support the Internal Audit Manager in preparing documentation for the Board;
• Support in monitoring the fraud prevention system, overseeing the whistleblowing management procedure, collaborating with the Internal Audit Team to investigate the complaints collected.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting, business, or related field;
• 5+ years of progressive experience in audit, compliance, fraud investigation or risk management;
• Fluent in English language is a must;
• Strong Analytical skill and Goal oriented attitude;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, both in Italian and English;
• Experience working on global, cross-functional and complex projects;
• Knowledge of SAP system and experience in data analysis;
• Knowledge of Celonis, process mining software, is a plus;
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus (CPA, CFE or CIA);
• Willing to join a multicultural and multinational Group.
• Availability to work on site and travelling in Cementir Group sites up to 60% of the time across UE and Extra-UE.
