Are you ready to play a key role in shaping packaging strategies across international production sites? Join our team and contribute to optimizing packaging materials planning and supporting sustainable solutions across our operations in Vicenza and Vienna.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and take ownership of packaging management activities, contributing directly to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL FOCUS ON:
- Development of the packaging materials requirements plan based on the production schedule;
- Order management (issuance, delivery scheduling and call-offs, accounts payable invoicing, proactive stock monitoring)
- Prepare and monitor the packaging purchase budget, collaborating with the Global Procurement team in the search for and validation of alternative suppliers, innovative materials, and supplier rating activities;
- Drive research and validation of innovative and sustainable packaging materials (e.g., recyclable, compostable solutions)
- Stay updated on packaging-related regulations and ensure compliance across all materials;
- Handle supplier non-conformities, including tracking, escalation, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Oversee documentation management, including technical specifications, food contact compliance declarations, safety data sheets, and artworks;
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and communicate material changes to relevant departments.
WHAT YOU BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in packaging, production, or supply chain environments
- Solid knowledge of SAP (mandatory); experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus
- Experience in project management and cross-functional collaboration
- Strong analytical, planning, and forecasting skills
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and results-driven mindset
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
