Group Sales Internship Role:


As a Group Sales Intern, you'll delve into the sophisticated world of Luxury Hotel Group Sales, gaining immersive experience in scouting, handling, and managing diverse group requests, spanning from prospective inquiries to confirmed bookings. Your responsibilities will encompass a spectrum of tasks, ranging from behind-the-scenes administrative support to on-site facilitation of group needs. This internship provides a genuine luxury hospitality experience with a concentrated focus on Group Sales, offering invaluable hands-on learning opportunities.


Main Duties and responsibilities:


• Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Associate Director of Group Sales, encompassing tasks such as drafting proposals, estimating client costs, processing contracts, conducting site inspections, managing reservations, and coordinating Trips/FAMs. Additionally, offer flexible support across various departmental needs.


• Conduct thorough reviews of contractual templates, skillfully draft contracts and proposals (under Associate Director of Group Sales supervision), and diligently maintain the Sales database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.


• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer and guest experiences through seamless day-to-day interactions, offering support in addressing their inquiries and requests.


• Facilitate the efficient operation of all administrative functions and the flawless execution of planned group events, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to timelines.


• Assist the Associate Director of Group Sales in managing rooming lists, preparing proforma invoices, accommodating group special requests, compiling group resumes, and providing operational support for group-related tasks to ensure smooth event execution.


Qualifications:


  • Ideally with a university degree in Hospitality or Tourism management. Alternatively can be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Sales, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a dynamic team environment.
  • Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • The good knowledge of Italian and English is mandatory.


Duration : 6 months with additional 6 months renewal possibility.
