Group Technology Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Group Technology Engineering Manager with a strong background in the paper or a similar industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and driving technological advancements across the company’s production processes, both for existing products and new product development. This role requires a deep understanding of industry-specific technologies, a proactive approach to finding innovative solutions, and the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy Development: support the executive team to develop and implement a long-term technology strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
• Innovation Leadership: lead and foster innovation in the production processes by identifying and integrating new technologies that enhance efficiency, quality, and sustainability.
• Product Development: collaborate with Innovation product development teams to identify technological solutions for both existing products and those in the development pipeline. Drive the technology roadmaps for new product lines.
• Process Improvement: analyze current production methods, identify areas of inefficiency or technological gaps, and lead the implementation of advanced engineering solutions to improve performance, reduce costs, and optimize resource usage.
• Team Leadership: lead and develop a team of engineers, promoting a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. Ensure collaboration and alignment across departments to meet business objectives.
• Vendor & Partner Management: manage relationships with external technology providers and vendors, ensuring the selection and integration of appropriate technologies and equipment.
• Sustainability & Compliance: ensure that all technological initiatives comply with industry standards and environmental regulations, promoting sustainability in every aspect of the production process.
