Our exquisite new hotel in the vibrant heart of Palermo is opening its doors on October 1st, 2025 , and we're actively building a team of dedicated individuals who are excited to grow with us. We're on the hunt for four passionate Guest Experience Specialists (both full-time and part-time ) to become integral to our mission. This is a unique chance to be part of something truly special from the very beginning at Palazzo Balsamo, while also gaining invaluable experience at our beloved Palazzo Natoli Boutique Hotel .


What You'll Do: Bring Joy to Every Guest's Stay


As a Guest Experience Specialist , you'll be at the heart of our hotels, ensuring every guest feels genuinely cared for and completely at home. You'll be the friendly face, the helping hand, and the attentive listener who makes all the difference. Your day will be filled with opportunities to:

  • Anticipate Needs with Care: Connect with guests on a personal level, noticing the little things and stepping in to help before they even need to ask. Your competence and intuition will make their stay seamless.
  • Warm Welcomes & Fond Farewells: Handle arrivals and departures with a smile and efficiency, making every guest feel truly valued from their first step in until their last wave goodbye.
  • Seamless Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with every department – from housekeeping to our breakfast team – ensuring that every detail of a guest's stay is perfect and effortless, driven by our collective competence.
  • Share Authentic Local Secrets: Be an enthusiastic guide, sharing insights about our hotel's unique offerings, Palermo's hidden gems, and local tips that make a visit truly special. Your local knowledge will enrich their journey.
  • Support & Organize: Skillfully manage important back-office tasks, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Uphold Our Heartfelt Standards: Contribute to an atmosphere of genuine care and sophistication, ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of authenticity and competence that define our boutique hotels.


Your Schedule: Designed for Connection


We structure our shifts to ensure we're always there for our guests, and to offer clarity for you:

  • Morning Shift: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Afternoon/Evening Shift: 3:30 PM - 11:30 PM

Please know that availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, is essential.


Who You Are: A Heart for Hospitality, Authenticity, and Local Knowledge


We're looking for individuals who are not just skilled, but who bring a genuine warmth and desire to connect with people and share our unique local spirit:

  • A Welcoming Spirit: Some prior experience in a guest-facing role within hospitality (like hotels, resorts, or boutique hotels) is wonderful, but most importantly, you have a true passion for service and making people happy. You understand the value of authenticity in guest interactions.
  • A Gift for Languages: You must have professional proficiency in Italian and English to connect with our diverse guests. Additionally, a third language will be a significant advantage, helping us welcome even more visitors from around the world.
  • Empathetic & Communicative: You're a natural at understanding people's needs, you communicate clearly and kindly, and you genuinely enjoy building positive relationships with guests and colleagues.
  • Ready to Learn & Apply Competence: You're comfortable with or eager to learn hotel reservation systems and other operational software, ready to apply your competence to support our guests.
  • Professional & Proactive: You present yourself with poise, are dynamic, take initiative, pay close attention to details, and genuinely enjoy being part of a team. You're eager to learn and grow within the world of authentic hospitality.
