Hardware Engineer – Power Electronics for Induction Systems

We are seeking a talented Hardware Engineer with a strong background in power electronics and converter design to join our R&D team working on next-generation induction cooktop systems. You will contribute to the design, development, and validation of electronic boards and power modules, collaborating closely with firmware, thermal, and mechanical teams to deliver safe, performant, and cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and simulate power conversion circuits (e.g., half-bridge, full-bridge inverters, PFC)

• Develop and validate schematics and PCB layouts for power and control boards

• Select and evaluate electronic components (IGBTs, MOSFETs, drivers, etc.)

• Perform EMI/EMC analysis and testing

• Collaborate with firmware engineers for hardware-software integration

• Support design reviews, prototypes, and product industrialization

• Document design outputs and test procedures

Place: Gallarate (VA), Italy

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc in Electronic Engineering or related field

• Good knowledge of power electronics and switching converters

• Hands-on experience with Altium Designer or similar EDA tools

• Familiarity with inductive load driving, thermal constraints, and safety standards

• Ability to read and debug oscilloscope, multimeter, and power analyzer data

• Fluent in English; Italian is a plus

• Proactive mindset, team player, and attention to detail
