The role :

The Head of Cloud will oversee the evolution of MotorK's cloud infrastructure, leading a platform engineering team to a state-of-the-art environment.

We're seeking candidates who bring :

• Leadership Excellence: Proven success in guiding teams and projects.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of modern technologies and adaptability.
• AWS & Kubernetes Mastery: Hands-on experience with these platforms for building and managing complex systems.

This role offers autonomy to make decisions in cloud and infrastructure domains within a leading SaaS company in the European automotive sector. You will guide colleagues in software development to adopt best practices in CI/CD, SRE, and Cloud.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in live production cloud infrastructure, preferably in environments serving thousands of clients with SLA commitments.
• Proven experience in production-critical environments with SRE framework adoption, including developing observability platforms and leading SLO/SLA implementations to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Services, Cloud Architecture, Cloud Governance, and Cost Control, especially in a cloud-native environment.
• Solid understanding of:
• Infrastructure as Code at scale
• AWS Governance, Security, and Networking
• FinOps and Cost Management
• Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity in Cloud
• Experience with CI/CD tools and frameworks, and driving DevOps practices across teams.
• Leadership experience, including team management and effective communication with senior management.
