The Head of the DAS business unit is responsible for the overall management and financial performance of the team, including technicians and worksite supervisors. Reporting directly to the CEO, the role offers high visibility and significant decision‑making autonomy. The position plays a key role in driving the next phase of growth within a structurally expanding and dynamic market environment. Operating within a private equity‑backed setting, the role requires a strong focus on margin optimization, cash discipline, accountability, and the delivery of scalable growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Definition of a clear commercial strategy including go‑to‑market approach, pricing logic, and margin model
- Structure the Business Unit with a simple and transparent accountability model enabling full financial visibility
- Implement delivery standards and project controls to minimize delays, rework, and contractual risks
- Lead strategic bids and personally drive the closure of high‑value opportunities
- Build and execute a focused growth plan articulated by verticals and customer segment
- Own forecasting discipline, pipeline quality, and structured monthly performance reviews
- Structured team leadership with clear targets, KPIs, and performance culture
- Sales leadership across key accounts, strategic partners, and channel ecosystem
- Procurement and subcontractor management in turnkey projects, including installer coordination and cost control
- Full responsibility for the financial performance of the DAS business unit
SUCCESS METRICS:
- Sustainable revenue growth with stable or improving gross margins
- Strong win rate on qualified and strategically selected opportunities
- On‑time and on‑budget project delivery with clean acceptance
- High customer satisfaction and repeat business generation
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong background in DAS, in‑building cellular, small cells, RF network solutions, or adjacent connectivity infrastructure
- Demonstrated track record in closing complex solution sales and managing multi‑stakeholder negotiations
- Proven experience leading a business unit or line with direct commercial ownership
- Solid understanding of project governance, contract management, and risk control
- Credible leadership style based on clarity, high standards, and execution discipline
- Fluency in Italian and strong working knowledge of English
