As Head of Global Category Management, you will define and own category strategies across a diverse supplier base to support Hitachi Energy’s manufacturing, installation, and commissioning activities. You provide global direction, governance, and end-to-end ownership to enable cost leadership, resilience, sustainability, and innovation. You lead regional category managers, steer high‑impact supplier negotiations, and ensure robust risk mitigation and supplier lifecycle management. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to align sourcing decisions with business priorities and roadmaps, driving measurable value at scale.

Responsabilità

• 10+ years in strategic sourcing and/or global category management in a complex, international environment
• Proven track record shaping and executing global sourcing strategies with measurable impact
• Strong negotiation skills, contractual frameworks and senior-level supplier partnerships
• Highly analytical with ability to translate data, insights and risks into strategic recommendations
• Clear and credible communication with senior stakeholders across functions and regions
• Experience operating in matrix organizations and leading without formal authority
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally
• Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field (or equivalent experience)
