Overview
In this role, you lead HRBP strategy for Sephora’s retail network, aligning people plans with the business direction. You partner with Area Managers and HR leadership to shape payroll, talent, and development initiatives across stores. You drive succession planning, recruitment strategy, and climate monitoring to ensure a fair, high-performing retail team. You will act as a change agent and advocate Sephora values while enabling growth and a positive work environment. Responsibilities
Participate in setting the annual payroll and people budget in stores with HR Director and Area Managers Identify talent needs, risks, and gaps; design and oversee mitigation plans using talent management tools Lead or coordinate Talent Reviews/Succession Planning rounds across the business unit/function Translate business unit strategy into short- and mid-term HR initiatives aligned with the company vision Support Area Managers in defining a people strategy coherent with the company Define recruitment needs with Area Managers and set appropriate strategy Monitor network climate and ensure fairness across areas Lead communication between Area Managers, Stores, and HR Department Oversee policy compliance and coordinate disciplinary actions when needed Support development strategies and deliver/coordinate learning programs to close gaps Establish and roll out the training strategy with L&D Manager; cascade Retail-wide Deliver the Training strategy and oversee Learning and Development initiatives Embodiment of Sephora values; act as Sephora Ambassador Promote health and safety policies and standards across locations Manage labor disputes and grievances with legal support, ensuring labor law compliance Serve as a change agent to drive transformation and improvement Qualifications
5+ years in on-field HR roles, preferably in retail Fluent in English; additional languages a plus Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Proactive, adaptable, and aligned with Sephora's values Willingness to travel for business needs Benefits
