The Role
As the Head of Marketing for Italy, you will lead with purpose and drive the creation of brand strategic plans, seasonal strategies, GTM plans, and govern Italian investment strategy within one of our fastest-growing markets. You will ensure executional alignment with overall company initiatives and within EMEA and Global brand direction for the region, with the goal to grow brand awareness and build brand love in the region.
Your Impact
- Building the brand in Italy, growing awareness and building brand love
- Drive 360 amplification and plans of key sports and cultural moments in the Italian market, with a focus on Milan
- Adapt the regional marketing plan to ensure cultural relevance while maintaining alignment with strategic goals and objectives
- Lead trade marketing initiatives, ensuring in-store excellence, engaging activations, and encouraging try-ons
- Build a strong community around the brand and reinforce key relationships in the region to drive the brand further
- Drive innovation in how we connect with consumers, elevating our brand positioning
- Drive commercial initiatives and manage key partnerships, agencies, and strategic retail accounts
- Build marketing programs and campaigns to drive our DTC efforts in the region, both on e-comm and through retail with a focus on bringing the retail experience to life
- Oversee the development and management of marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation across all channels
- Evaluate and enhance the cross-category multichannel consumer experience
- Mentor and develop the local marketing team, optimizing team structure and resources to support business goals
- Ensure strong cross-functional alignment in the market both across commercial teams and our EMEA marketing functions
- Conduct in-depth market research and gather local insights to inform and refine market strategies
- Compile and synthesize monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing reports, tracking progress and development
- Ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained across all marketing activities

We Would Love To Hear From People With
- Proven marketing experience, including brand strategy and positioning, product launches, marketing plan execution, post-campaign analysis, and the use of innovative marketing tools and techniques
- Proven experience in developing and executing country-specific marketing strategies and plans
- Proven experience of coaching, managing and leading teams
- Strong knowledge of the country’s running category and culture
- Experience working in the consumer lifestyle/sport/fashion sector is beneficial
- Ability to balance long-term strategic planning with day-to-day execution
- Ability to navigate a global organization and collaborate across multiple functions
- Willingness to travel periodically within the local market, regionally, and globally
