Head of Operations Italy

To lead our Italian Operations team, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimizing our operations to support continued business growth.

As the head of the department, you will also be a member of our Country Management team, collaborating with senior leaders to deliver long-term business strategies.

What is your role?

• Develop and implement multi-year plans for operations, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy.
• Lead teams and oversee operational activities, fostering excellent partnerships with internal clients.
• Manage and report on the performance of a diverse team of approximately 70 members, including 5 direct reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE legislation and promote a safety-first culture on-site.
• Oversee transportation processes to ensure customer satisfaction, minimize costs, and optimize delivery times.
• Supervise site maintenance, statutory compliance, and the general upkeep of the facility.

Who are you?

• Proven success in managing logistics functions.
• Experience in facilities management and transportation.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, compliance requirements, and safe systems.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to analyze data, monitor KPIs, and drive performance.
• Problem-solving mindset with the capacity to make quick, informed decisions.
• Proficiency in business English (B2 / C1 level).
