Head of Operations (m/f/d) – Prestatech
Prestatech is revolutionizing credit decisioning through bank account data scoring and document automation powered by proprietary technology. With offices in Milan and Berlin, our diverse team of 20+ nationalities serves banks, FinTechs, and credit brokers across Europe.
Founded in 2021 by successful entrepreneurs who previously built and exited Prestacap, Prestatech has raised €8M to expand its intelligent document processing and transaction analysis solutions across Italy, Germany, UK and USA.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day‑to‑day operations across the client portfolio (reporting, support, change requests and account management).
- Oversee POCs, new client launches and integrations.
- Oversee certifications, penetration tests and contract renewal processes.
- Define, monitor and continuously improve KPIs, processes and scalability.
- Lead the Operations teams.
- Partner with the Founders to define the operational roadmap.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, efficiency and innovation across the company.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of professional experience, track record in operational leadership roles within FinTech or banking, ideally in startups, scale‑ups or consulting.
- A hands‑on problem solver who enjoys finding efficient ways to improve processes – or better yet, automating them using no‑code and low‑code tools.
- Strong analytical and logical thinking: ability to frame challenges clearly when engaging with stakeholders and reimagine existing processes to drive efficiency or solve problems.
- Quantitative mindset with solid proficiency in spreadsheets such as Google Sheets or Excel.
- A true team player: while valuing deep focus time, also thriving on collaboration and supporting colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Organised, detail‑oriented and curious, always eager to learn and improve.
- A hunter mindset: resourceful, persistent and always able to find a way forward.
- Professional proficiency in English and Italian.
Success in this Role Means
After 3 months: established credibility and trust within the team and stakeholders, learned current processes, diagnosed challenges and improvements, and translated company strategy into a clear operational roadmap draft.
After 6 months: drive measurable improvements, scale processes, demonstrate leadership impact and position as a trusted operational leader and close partner to the Founders.
