Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for a Partner Sales Head for the Italy region. You will create, own, and deliver our strategy to work with AWS Partner Network (APN) partners to drive adoption of AWS’s Cloud Computing Platform and grow born-in-the-cloud customers.

In this role, you will develop and lead a team of Partner Sales Managers across Italy. You will build and execute an Italy partner strategy by working directly with partners and customers in each segment. You will define and implement partner initiatives for the Italy business, support the team in daily interactions, scale business through partner-originated opportunities, and build long-term trusted relationships with partners. You will be at the forefront of trends like AI, ML, serverless, and IoT, helping startup customers leverage APN partners and cutting-edge AWS technologies to innovate and disrupt, similar to companies like Airbnb, Slack, DoorDash, and Lyft.

Key job responsibilities

You will be expected to :

  • Build Italy partner sales strategy and expand our partner sales team across Italy
  • Develop and execute goals including partner contribution rate, migrations, partner enablement, and partner acquisition
  • Develop and lead a team of partner sales managers in Italy
  • Build and leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote AWS adoption among startups
  • Support AWS operational cadences and present a consolidated view of Italy partner business to senior AWS leaders
  • Lead a customer-obsessed business that delights partners and customers
  • Contribute as a key member of the global startup leadership team
  • Contribute as a key member of the EMEA leadership team
  • Have broad understanding and experience working in the Italy market
  • Possess cloud or SaaS platform experience
  • Proven ability to deliver results amidst ambiguity and change
  • Experience leading major initiatives in a multinational environment with stakeholders across sales, business development, and program management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for helping businesses grow
  • Entrepreneurial "builder" mentality
