Our client is a leading manufacturing company specialized in the production of automatic machines and systems for the food industries.
Role
To support the company’s ongoing growth, we are looking for a Head of Sales and Business Development who will define and execute the global commercial strategy, driving business expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and drive the global business development strategy, in alignment with the company’s long-term growth objectives and overall corporate strategy.
- Identify, develop and structure new business opportunities with key global players, including producers, OEMs and strategic partners.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders (food Industry).
- Expand the company’s market presence by opening new markets, applications and customer segments.
- Lead, develop and structure the international sales organization, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Position and promote advanced technologies by clearly articulating their value proposition and ROI for customers.
- Collaborate with R&D and Product teams to align solutions with evolving customer needs and market trends.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape and technological innovation in food industries and quality control systems.
- Define go-to-market models, partnership frameworks and pricing logic.
- Support and guide the Sales organization on strategic accounts and complex deals.
- Represent the company at international trade fairs, conferences and industry events.
We need a candidate who is able to build relationships with customers decision makers.
Key Qualifications
- Solid experience in sales roles within industrial, technological or capital equipment environments.
- Proven track record in selling complex, high-value solutions for the food industries / Producers (e.g. automation, machine vision, bottling or food processing equipment).
- Experience in managing sales teams. International sales background.
- Strong understanding of value-based selling and solution-oriented approaches.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on, entrepreneurial approach.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Availability for frequent international travel.
