Head of Sales

As Head of Sales in Milan, you will drive the growth of EDP's distributed generation business in Italy, focusing on B2B photovoltaic systems. You will define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the market, grow revenue, and acquire customers, while building strong relationships with key clients and partners. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with operations to optimize the sales cycle and forecast performance for senior leadership. • Develop and implement the sales strategy for Italy’s PV B2B market
• Drive market expansion and revenue growth through multiple channels (direct, partners, digital)
• Build and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
• Conduct market research, analyze trends, and stay ahead of competition
• Forecast, budget, and present sales performance to senior management
• Collaborate with operations to refine value proposition and optimize the sales cycle
• Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team to achieve targets
• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• 5-7 years in business development, sales, or related role in renewable energy, with PV experience preferred
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets in B2B
• Deep understanding of PV industry, technology, market dynamics, and regulatory context
• Experience defining and executing sales strategy and using multiple channels
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Italian and English (written and spoken)
