Greentalent, a recruitment firm specialized in the search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering, and Environment sectors, on behalf of a major international player in the industrial, medical, and specialty gases sector, is looking for a:

Head of Sales – Industrial Gases

The ideal candidate is a professional with solid commercial experience in the industrial gases sector. The resource will be the primary commercial point of contact for the Italian market, with the objective of defining and implementing market entry tactics and managing business development. At a later stage, following the growth of the local market presence, the resource will have the opportunity to structure and coordinate the national sales network.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing operational tactics for the Italian market strategy;
• Directly managing bulk gas sales and strategic Key Accounts;
• Monitoring sales performance through the use of CRM systems;
• Ensuring profitable growth in turnover and margins;
• Managing the customer credit collection activities;
• Overseeing project management activities related to new installations or contracts;
• Coordinating the future integration of new sales professionals.

Requirements

• Consolidated sales experience in the industrial gases sector and related contractual models (direct sales and agency);
• In‑depth knowledge of the Italian industrial gas market and relevant production and distribution regulations;
• Ability to work independently towards objectives, with an operational approach to client management;
• Professional proficiency in English, required for interaction with the Group (knowledge of German is considered a plus);
• Excellent knowledge of main IT tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and preferably Salesforce;
• Willingness to travel within the national territory.

The profile is completed by strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a natural inclination toward building long‑term customer relationships.
